Bracken
Range is a family oriented,
family operated public range. Minimum age to shoot WITHOUT a parent is 18
for long guns and 21 for hand guns.
Range Masters provide help and supervisiona.
Bracken
Range Does Not Have Firearms For Rent.
Bring Your Own And Enjoy Our Facility
We offer the following services:
- Rifle Range
-
50 and 100 yard ranges available
All rifle stations
are covered (out of the sun and rain).
Each station includes individual shooting table, gun rest, sand bags,
spotting scope and ear/eye protection if needed. Hunting rifles, simi-auto,
plinkers and black powder guns welcomed. Bore siting is available.
- Covered Pistol
Range -
7 and 15 yard ranges available
7 and 15 yard
pistol ranges are available.
All pistol stations are covered (out of the sun and rain).
Each station includes individual shooting table, gun rest, binoculars and
ear/eye protection if needed. 500 Smith & Wesson and 460 Ruger pistols
are not allowed on the Covered Pistol Range.
- Concealed
Handgun Practice Range -
Marked for 3.5, 7, and 15 yard distances
The Practice Range
is available for pistol silhouette shooting.
It is designed for Concealed Handgun Carry Training.
- Shotgun Range -
We have two ranges
set aside for shotgun shooters.
For those wanting to test and pattern your shotgun or shoot a home defence
shotgun, we offer bullseye targets. In addition, we have hand throwers available
to challenge bird hunters.
- Instructor/Law Enforcement Range -
A separate range is available for Instructor, Concealed Handgun License, Law Enforcement, and Security Guard Certification. The range is available to instructors by appointment only. Call us at 651-9009.
